Pope Francis received today Secretary General of Muslim World League Dr. Mohammed bin Abdul Karim Al-Issa, who is currently visiting the Vatican.
During the meeting, they exchanged views on a number of issues of common interest, which are in the interest of peace and global harmony, and
cooperation in issues of peace, coexistence and the spread of love.
For his part, the Secretary General of the Muslim World League expressed appreciation of the Muslim world for the pope's fair positions on the false claims that link extremism and violence to Islam, and that these acts have nothing to do with Islam and that in all religions, some followers have extremism.
