The British Permanent Representative to the United Nations Dame Karen Pierce stressed, during a UN Security Council session, that the United Kingdom has taken notice of the UN Secretary-general evaluation of the situation, in Yemen, and concluded that the ballistic missiles used by the Houthis have been transferred from Iran.
Karen Pierce emphasized, in a press statement released by the British Foreign Office, that the proliferation of missiles' technology would destabilize the region and therefore, using them shall stop for the sake of regional stability and international peace and security, as well.
The path pursued by Iran, in order to achieve its security interests, in the region, she added, is often a destabilizing factor as it poses threats to the neighbors and jeopardizes the others at their outreach range, even those, in Europe.
