Saudi Ambassador to Canada and Mayor of Ottawa inaugurate cultural events «Ottawa Welcomes the World»

Ottawa- The Saudi Ambassador to Canada Naif bin Bandar Al-Sudairi and Mayor of Ottawa Jim Watson have co-inaugurated the cultural events entitled «Ottawa Welcomes the World» with the presence of Secretary of Environment and Climate Change Catherine McKenna, senior members of the Canadian government and ambassadors accredited to Canada.
Al-Sudairi spoke at the opening ceremony, highlighting the distinguished relations between the Kingdom and Canada at the political and cultural levels.
He thanked the Canadian government and the Mayor of Ottawa for their trust in the Kingdom and valuation of its culture, citing their selection of the Kingdom among other the countries as participant for the second time in one year.
The Saudi pavilion comprises exhibitions by the General Authority for Tourism and National Heritage, the Ministry of Culture and the Saudi Embassy in Canada.
