KSA to host an international conference of Muslim scholars to discuss Afghanistan's peace and stability next week

Jeddah - The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia will host «International Conference of Muslim Scholars on Peace and Stability in the Republic of Afghanistan» in Jeddah and Makkah on 26 and 27 Shawwal 1439H corresponding to 10 and 11 July 2018, respectively.
The conference, which is based on the resolutions of the Islamic Summit and the Council of Foreign Ministers of Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Member States and attended by leaders of religious scholars in Afghanistan and a group of Muslim scholars from around the world, aims at assisting efforts to achieve peace and stability in Afghanistan and condemn terrorism and violent extremism in all its forms and manifestations based on the teachings of the Islamic religion.
