SCTH President Hails State's Unlimited Support for Tourism Sector in KSA

Abha - Prince Sultan bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, President of Saudi Commission for Tourism and National Heritage (SCTH) paid yesterday (Monday) an inspection visit to the ongoing work on the development of Rijal Almaa village where he met the team assigned to implement urgent projects and development so as to register the village on UNESCO World Heritage List.
He said in a press statement that the state, under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, has put its full weight to support tourism projects in the Kingdom to be a distinctive tourist destination.
He also extended thanks to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques for the patronage, support and interest in tourism sector in general and the national heritage. In particular, stressing that the King has been keeping abreast of the heritage sector for over 50 years and is the first supporter of this sector which represents a new economic resource that will provide thousands of direct and indirect employment opportunities and will contribute to moving the national economy and creating acceptable work programs.
