بعد مسيرة فنية امتدت لعقود، أعلنت الفنانة المصرية نادية رشاد اكتفاءها بما قدمته وابتعادها عن التمثيل وكتابة السيناريو، مؤكدةً عدم رغبتها في تلقي اتصالات تتعلق بأعمال فنية جديدة.
وقالت رشاد، في منشور عبر حسابها الرسمي على «فيسبوك»: «لكل من يهمه الأمر، أنا لم أعد أمثل أو أكتب السيناريو، ولا أرحب بمكالمة من أي زميل، رغم احترامي للجميع، أعتز بما قدمت واكتفيت».
ولم تكشف الفنانة المصرية سبباً محدداً لقرارها، مكتفيةً بإعلان توقفها عن التمثيل وكتابة السيناريو، والتأكيد على اكتفائها بما قدمته خلال مسيرتها.
وتُعد نادية رشاد من الوجوه المعروفة في الدراما المصرية، إذ شاركت على مدار عقود في أعمال تلفزيونية وإذاعية ومسرحية وسينمائية.
ومن أبرز أعمالها «أرابيسك»، و«آسفة أرفض الطلاق»، و«المفسدون في الأرض»، و«الوعد الحق»، و«أم كلثوم»، و«الطوفان»، و«قاسم أمين».
وقدمت في مسلسل «أم كلثوم» عام 1999 شخصية منيرة المهدية، فيما جسدت شخصية الحاجة صفية في مسلسل «الطوفان» عام 2017.
كما شاركت عام 2022 في مسلسل «الاختيار 3: القرار»، وقدمت شخصية والدة الفريق عبدالفتاح السيسي.
وكان مسلسل «وبينا ميعاد»، الذي عُرض عام 2023، من أحدث أعمالها التمثيلية، بمشاركة شيرين رضا وصبري فواز ومدحت صالح وبسمة ووفاء صادق، ومن تأليف وإخراج هاني كمال.
After an artistic career that spanned decades, the Egyptian artist Nadia Rashad announced her contentment with what she has accomplished and her withdrawal from acting and screenwriting, confirming her lack of desire to receive calls regarding new artistic works.
Rashad said in a post on her official Facebook account: "To whom it may concern, I no longer act or write scripts, and I do not welcome calls from any colleague, despite my respect for everyone. I cherish what I have done and I am content."
The Egyptian artist did not disclose a specific reason for her decision, merely announcing her cessation of acting and screenwriting, and affirming her satisfaction with what she has contributed throughout her career.
Nadia Rashad is considered one of the well-known faces in Egyptian drama, having participated over the decades in television, radio, theatrical, and cinematic works.
Some of her most notable works include "Arabesque," "Sorry, I Refuse the Divorce," "The Corruptors on Earth," "The True Promise," "Umm Kulthum," "The Flood," and "Qasim Amin."
In the series "Umm Kulthum" in 1999, she portrayed the character of Mounira Al-Mahdiyya, while she played the character of Hajjia Safiya in the series "The Flood" in 2017.
She also participated in 2022 in the series "The Choice 3: The Decision," where she portrayed the mother of General Abdel Fattah El-Sisi.
The series "And Between Us a Date," which aired in 2023, was one of her latest acting works, featuring Sherine Reda, Sabry Fawaz, Medhat Saleh, Basma, and Wafaa Sadiq, and was written and directed by Hani Kamal.
