رصدت هيئة السوق المالية 566 موقعاً إلكترونياً غير مرخص تقدم خدمات الاستثمار، حيث انتحل العديد منها الشخصيات الاعتبارية للشركات الاستثمارية المحلية والخليجية والدولية، وبعضها تقدم خدمات الفوركس والأوبشن.
وحجبت الهيئة المواقع المنتحلة للشخصيات الاعتبارية وحظرت الوصول إليها، خصوصاً أن بعض تلك الصفحات أُنشئت داخل مواقع وسائل التواصل الاجتماعي، وبلغ عدد المواقع التي انتحلت شخصيات مواقع أخرى 286 موقعاً إلكترونياً.
واستحوذت المواقع الإلكترونية التي تدعي أن مقرها في المملكة العربية السعودية على نحو 303 مواقع، بينما بلغت المواقع غير المعروف مقرها 84 موقعاً، و37 موقعاً في المملكة المتحدة، و26 موقعاً في بلغاريا، و22 موقعاً في «سانت فينسنت والغرينادين»، و20 موقعاً في مصر، و13 موقعاً في قبرص، و10 مواقع في جزر المارشال، و8 مواقع في الإمارات العربية المتحدة، و7 في البحرين، و5 مواقع في الكويت، و6 في السعودية.
وشملت المواقع المنتحلة عدداً من الدول الأخرى مثل: دومينيكان، فانواتو، أستراليا، إستونيا، جمهورية فانواتو، دومينيكان، أسكتلندا، بيليز، روسيا، فلسطين، مالطا، أذربيجان، تركيا، نيوزيلندا.
The Capital Market Authority has identified 566 unlicensed websites offering investment services, many of which impersonate the legal identities of local, Gulf, and international investment companies, and some provide forex and options services.
The Authority has blocked the websites impersonating legal identities and prohibited access to them, especially since some of those pages were created within social media platforms. The number of websites that impersonated other sites reached 286.
The websites claiming to be based in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia accounted for about 303 sites, while the number of unknown location sites was 84, with 37 sites in the United Kingdom, 26 sites in Bulgaria, 22 sites in "Saint Vincent and the Grenadines," 20 sites in Egypt, 13 sites in Cyprus, 10 sites in the Marshall Islands, 8 sites in the United Arab Emirates, 7 in Bahrain, 5 sites in Kuwait, and 6 in Saudi Arabia.
The impersonating websites included several other countries such as: Dominica, Vanuatu, Australia, Estonia, the Republic of Vanuatu, Dominica, Scotland, Belize, Russia, Palestine, Malta, Azerbaijan, Turkey, and New Zealand.
