Bloomberg News Agency revealed today that Saudi Arabia has resumed oil exports through the "East-West" pipeline. This was reported by the "Al Arabiya.net" website.
Operational Flexibility and Logistical Capabilities
The CEO of Saudi Aramco, Amin Nasser, confirmed last week that the company possesses operational flexibility and logistical capabilities that enable it to meet its commitments to customers even amid geopolitical disruptions. Nasser stated: "Aramco" continues to explore additional export routes and enhance its storage capabilities outside the Kingdom to ensure the continuity of supplies to global markets.
Resilience and Adaptability
Nasser added in statements to "Nikkei Asia" that the "East-West" pipeline project is not limited to a single line, but consists of a network of lines that provide great flexibility in transporting crude oil and petroleum products. He emphasized that the company is capable of resilience and handling severe disruptions thanks to its advanced infrastructure and operational expertise. He explained that "Aramco" is also evaluating opportunities to expand its storage capabilities abroad, which enhances its ability to meet global demand and maintain supply reliability under various conditions. Nasser pointed out that "Aramco" can address any disruptions that may affect its operations within a few days, noting that the company is seriously considering alternative options for oil exports in light of the current geopolitical developments.
Surge in Oil Exports
Saudi Arabia's crude oil exports surged in September to their highest levels since the outbreak of the Iran War about seven months ago, increasing by 80% compared to August, according to data from "Kpler," a company specializing in trade information and energy flows. The data showed that the Kingdom exported about 6 million barrels per day in September, bringing Saudi crude shipments back to levels close to the monthly average recorded during the year 2025.
