Kuwait - Arab Media Forum has welcomed selection of the city of Riyadh, as the capital of the Pan-Arab media for 2018/2019, during the meetings of the Council of Arab Ministers of Information, recently held, in Cairo.
The Secretary-General of the Forum Maadi Al-Khamis said in a press statement released here today that the media, in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, have achieved unprecedented progress over the past years, praising the development which created a lot of Saudi media distinctive cadres.
He pointed out that Saudi media excellence does not only appeared in the Kingdom, but also went beyond to reach abroad, hailing its pioneer experience, in establishing media institutions of a regional as well as international orientations, concluding by stressing that the selection of Riyadh as the capital of Arab media, would greatly contribute to its successes and enhance Saudi and Arab media revival, alike.
