Istanbul- Incumbent Recep Tayyip Erdogan has won presidentialelections in Turkey with 97.7 per cent of votes counted, thecountry's Supreme Election Council says, according to state news agency Anadolu. «The results show Mr Recep Tayyip Erdogan gained an absolute majority of valid votes,» council head Sadi Guven said. Around 97.7 per cent of votes had been entered into the commission's system, he said.
«The number of votes that are not yet in the system will not influence the result,» he added.
