Makkah-based Muslim World League (MWL) lauded the great and continuous efforts being exerted by the government of the Saudi Arabia, led by Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman, in the service of pilgrims, Umrah pilgrims and visitors of the two holy mosques without any discrimination, citing the Kingdom's successful measures to receive some 18,000 Syrian pilgrims this year, Saudi Press Agency (SPA) quoted MWL as saying, Thursday.
In a press statement, the MWL refuted the delusive allegations that the authorities of Saudi Arabia have barred Syrian nationals from performing Haj and Umrah.
The statement said the Kingdom annually receives pilgrims from more than 80 nationalities without any discrimination and provides them with world-class services to perform their rituals in ease and comfort.
This year (1439H), around 18,000 pilgrims will come from Syria, a step the statement described as the best reply to such claims.
