Islamabad - The Minister of Information of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan Fuad Chowdhury has praised the success of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in the management of the Hajj season with excellence and professionalism and the great efforts and preparations made by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud to enable pilgrims to perform their rituals easily.
He commended the depth of relations between his country and the Kingdom, describing them as strategic that will see more strength and durability in the future.
The Minister told Saudi Press Agency (SPA), that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia enjoys an important position in the Islamic world and its policies are respected in the Islamic world and the globe, stressing that the government and the people of Pakistan highly appreciate the high efforts of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdul Aziz Al Saud in the service and expansion of the Two Holy Mosques in Makkah and Madinah.
He stressed that Pakistan will not allow anyone to infringe on the sanctity of the Two Holy Mosques and the security and sovereignty of the Kingdom, stressing that any attack on the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is an attack on Pakistan, confirming that Kingdom is an important partner of Pakistan and bilateral relations are deep-rooted and will witness further development and diversity in the future.
The Pakistani Information Minister stressed the importance of future communication between the two ministries of media in the two countries, benefiting from expertise between them and expanding the base of cooperation in the field of highlighting the tolerant image of Islam that rejects terrorism.
He pointed out that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Pakistan rejected any form of terrorism or extremism and support the values of moderate Islam and tolerance.
