استضافَتْ وزارة الخارجية البلجيكية، في قصر "إيقمونت" بالعاصمة البلجيكية بروكسل، حوارًا مُوسَّعًا معالأمين العام لرابطة العالم الإسلامي، رئيس هيئة علماء المسلمين،الشيخ الدكتور محمد بن عبدالكريم العيسى، بعنوان: "أهمية الحوار في عالمٍ مُتغيّر"، بحضور عددٍ من الشخصيات الوزارية والبرلمانية، وممثِّلي الحكومات الأوروبية، وكبار القيادات الدينية، إلى جانب عددٍ من ممثِّلي المُنظّمات الدولية، والجامعات، وخُبراء المُجتمع المدني.
وتناول الحِوارُ والنِّقاشُ المُصاحِبُ عددًا من الموضوعات في ظلّ المُتغيّرات والتحوّلات الدولية ذات الصّلة باهتمام الرابطة وفق رسالتِها وأهدافِها.
وفي ذات السِّياق، جرى لقاءٌ بينالأمين العام، ونائب رئيس الوزراء البلجيكي، وزير الخارجية والشؤون الأوروبية والتعاون الإنمائي، السيد ماكسيم بريفو، الذي رحّبَ بالشيخ العيسى في قصر "إيقمونت" قَبل بداية الحوار الدولي معه.
The Belgian Ministry of Foreign Affairs hosted an extensive dialogue at the "Egmont" Palace in the Belgian capital, Brussels, with the Secretary-General of the Muslim World League, President of the Assembly of Muslim Scholars, Sheikh Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulkarim Al-Issa, titled: "The Importance of Dialogue in a Changing World," attended by several ministerial and parliamentary figures, representatives of European governments, senior religious leaders, as well as representatives of international organizations, universities, and civil society experts.
The dialogue and accompanying discussions addressed several topics in light of the international changes and transformations related to the interests of the League in accordance with its message and objectives.
In the same context, a meeting took place between the Secretary-General and the Belgian Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs, European Affairs, and Development Cooperation, Mr. Maxim Prevot, who welcomed Sheikh Al-Issa at the "Egmont" Palace before the start of the international dialogue with him.
