أعربت وزارة الخارجية عن ترحيب المملكة العربية السعودية بالمبادرة التي أعلنتها وزارة الخارجية في المملكة الأردنية الهاشمية الشقيقة بشأن تسيير رحلات تجارية منتظمة بين عمَّان وصنعاء، بما يُسهم في تلبية الاحتياجات الإنسانية للشعب اليمني الشقيق وتيسير حركة المدنيين.
وأوضحت وزارة الخارجية في بيان أن المملكة ترحب بموافقة الحكومة اليمنية على هذه المبادرة، باعتبارها خطوة إيجابية تعكس حرصها على تسهيل الإجراءات التي تخدم المواطنين اليمنيين وتدعم الجهود الرامية إلى تخفيف المعاناة الإنسانية، وتدعو المملكة الحوثيين إلى التفاعل الإيجابي مع هذه المبادرة بدلًا من تكرار قراراتهم السابقة التي تسببت في زيادة معاناة الشعب اليمني الشقيق والتوقف عن أي ممارسات أو إجراءات تصعيدية تجر اليمن وشعبه الشقيق لمزيدٍ من المعاناة.
وجددت المملكة العربية السعودية دعمها لكل المبادرات التي تُسهم في تحقيق الأمن والاستقرار في اليمن، بما يحفظ سيادته ويحقق تطلعات شعبه الشقيق.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's welcome for the initiative announced by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the sisterly Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan regarding the operation of regular commercial flights between Amman and Sana'a, which contributes to meeting the humanitarian needs of the brotherly Yemeni people and facilitates the movement of civilians.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs clarified in a statement that the Kingdom welcomes the Yemeni government's approval of this initiative, considering it a positive step that reflects its keenness to facilitate procedures that serve Yemeni citizens and support efforts aimed at alleviating humanitarian suffering. The Kingdom calls on the Houthis to engage positively with this initiative instead of repeating their previous decisions that have caused increased suffering for the brotherly Yemeni people and to cease any escalatory practices or measures that drag Yemen and its brotherly people into further suffering.
The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia renewed its support for all initiatives that contribute to achieving security and stability in Yemen, preserving its sovereignty and fulfilling the aspirations of its brotherly people.
