فيما طالبت الحكومة الفلسطينية، اليوم، بتدخل دولي فوري وعاجل لوقف الجرائم التي تقترفها قوات الاحتلال الإسرائيلي بحق أبناء الشعب الفلسطيني، خصوصاً في المحافظات الجنوبية، استنكرت المجموعة الدولية، وفي مقدمها بريطانيا، أقرب حليف للولايات المتحدة، وروسيا نقل السفارة الأمريكية إلى القدس، الذي سبق أن رفضته 128 دولة من أصل الدول الـ193 الأعضاء في الأمم المتحدة. وتسبب نقل السفارة بمواجهات عنيفة على الحدود بين قطاع غزة وإسرائيل أوقعت أكثر من 40 قتيلا وألفي جريح.

وقال الأمين العام للجامعة العربية أحمد أبو الغيط اليوم (الإثنين) إن افتتاح السفارة الأمريكية في القدس «خطوة بالغة الخطورة»، معتبرا أن الإدارة الأمريكية لا تدرك «أبعادها الحقيقية».


ويعقد مجلس الجامعة العربية اجتماعاً طارئاً بشأن القدس (الأربعاء) على مستوى المندوبين الدائمين، لبحث «سبل مواجهة قرار الولايات المتحدة غير القانوني» بنقل سفارتها إلى القدس، وفق مسؤول في الجامعة.
