فيما تتصاعد الانتهاكات والجرائم الإسرائيلية بحق الفلسطينيين في الضفة الغربية المحتلة، أعلنت الشرطة الإسرائيلية، اليوم (الأحد)، إصابة شخص بجروح جراء عملية طعن بالقرب من قرية العوجا في منطقة الأغوار.
وأفادت بأنه «قبل وقت قصير، ورد بلاغ حول إصابة شخص بجروح طعن بالقرب من قرية العوجا في منطقة الأغوار، وأن قوات من الشرطة موجودة في مكان الحادثة، فيما تجري فحوص للتحقق من ملابساته».
وكشفت صحيفة «يديعوت أحرونوت»، أن المصاب إسرائيلي في العشرينيات من عمره، وأصيب بجروح متوسطة في الجزء العلوي من جسده، فيما فر منفذ الهجوم من المكان، ما أدى إلى إطلاق عملية بحث عنه بمشاركة قوات من الجيش والشرطة الإسرائيليين.
وأقام الجيش الإسرائيلي حواجز على الطرق حول قرية العوجا وفي المناطق المحيطة بها، بالتزامن مع استمرار عمليات البحث عن منفذ الهجوم.
وتشهد الضفة الغربية منذ أسابيع موجة متصاعدة من التوتر، بدأت بمواجهات أسفرت عن مقتل 4 فلسطينيين وإسرائيليين اثنين، قبل أن تتسع لتشمل مداهمات واعتقالات وقيوداً عسكرية إسرائيلية مشددة، بالتوازي مع تصاعد اعتداءات المستوطنين، وإجراءات حكومية إسرائيلية لتوسيع الاستيطان وإنشاء بؤر جديدة والاستعداد لتنفيذ عملية أمنية واسعة.
ولليوم الخامس عشر على التوالي، يواصل مستوطنون إسرائيليون محاصرة ثلاثة منازل فلسطينية في بلدة قصرة جنوب نابلس، وسط انتشار لقوات الجيش الإسرائيلي، ما أدى إلى تقييد حركة السكان، بالتزامن مع دعوات إلى تدخل عاجل لإنهاء الحصار، كما جدد مستوطنون محاولاتهم لإقامة بؤرة استيطانية في منطقة رأس العين.
في غضون ذلك، أثارت خطة وزير الدفاع الإسرائيلي يسرائيل كاتس لنقل الصلاحيات داخل المستوطنات الإسرائيلية في الضفة المحتلة من الجيش إلى الشرطة، الخاضعة لوزير الأمن القومي إيتمار بن غفير، مخاوف فلسطينية من زيادة الاعتداءات والانتهاكات بحق الفلسطينيين، في ظل تصاعد عنف المستوطنين.
وحذرت قيادات في جيش الاحتلال القيادة السياسية من اقتراب الضفة الغربية من موجة تصعيد عنيف، في ظل استمرار أعمال عنف المستوطنين وتوسع البؤر الاستيطانية غير القانونية، وفقاً لما أوردته القناة 12 الإسرائيلية.
وشهدت الضفة الغربية خلال الأشهر الأخيرة اعتداءات ومضايقات شبه يومية استهدفت فلسطينيين وممتلكاتهم، فيما لا تزال عمليات توقيف المشتبه بهم في هذه الاعتداءات محدودة، وتندر أكثر حالات تقديمهم للمحاكمة، في الوقت الذي قُتل 25 فلسطينياً جراء اعتداءات مستوطنين خلال الأشهر الثمانية الأولى من العام الحالي، بحسب هيئة مقاومة الجدار والاستيطان الفلسطينية.

The newspaper "Yedioth Ahronoth" revealed that the injured person is an Israeli in his twenties, who sustained moderate injuries to the upper part of his body, while the assailant fled the scene, leading to a search operation involving Israeli army and police forces.
The Israeli army set up roadblocks around the village of al-Auja and in the surrounding areas, coinciding with the ongoing search for the assailant.
The West Bank has been witnessing a rising wave of tension for weeks, which began with clashes that resulted in the deaths of 4 Palestinians and 2 Israelis, before expanding to include raids, arrests, and strict Israeli military restrictions, alongside an increase in settler assaults and Israeli government measures to expand settlements, establish new outposts, and prepare for a large-scale security operation.
For the fifteenth consecutive day, Israeli settlers continue to besiege three Palestinian homes in the town of Qusra south of Nablus, amid the presence of Israeli army forces, which has restricted the movement of residents, coinciding with calls for urgent intervention to end the siege. Settlers have also renewed their attempts to establish a settlement outpost in the Ras al-Ain area.
Meanwhile, the plan by Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant to transfer powers within the Israeli settlements in the occupied West Bank from the army to the police, which is under National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir, has raised Palestinian fears of increased assaults and violations against Palestinians amid rising settler violence.
Leaders in the occupation army warned the political leadership that the West Bank is approaching a wave of violent escalation, amid ongoing acts of violence by settlers and the expansion of illegal settlement outposts, according to what was reported by Israeli Channel 12.
In recent months, the West Bank has witnessed near-daily assaults and harassment targeting Palestinians and their properties, while the operations to arrest suspects in these assaults remain limited, and instances of their prosecution are scarce. During the first eight months of this year, 25 Palestinians were killed due to settler assaults, according to the Palestinian Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission.
