هدد وزير الدفاع الإسرائيلي يسرائيل كاتس المسؤولين عن عمليات إطلاق البالونات والطائرات الورقية والمسيّرات من قطاع غزة، وأصدر تعليمات للجيش، اليوم (الأحد)، بالتحرك وإخلاء المناطق التي تنطلق منها.
ونقلت القناة السابعة العبرية عن مكتب كاتس أن التعليمات تشمل «اتخاذ جميع الخطوات اللازمة لمنع عمليات الإطلاق، بما في ذلك اغتيال قادة حماس المسؤولين عنها والمنفذين أنفسهم، وإخلاء الأحياء والمناطق التي ستنطلق منها هذه العمليات، والعمل ضد البنى التحتية العسكرية القائمة».
وقال كاتس: "نعتبر كل عملية إطلاق عملاً حربياً بكل معنى الكلمة، وسيتم التعامل فوراً وبأقصى درجات الحزم مع كل من ينظم أو يطلق أو يسهل عمليات الإطلاق".
وأضاف: "حكم البالون كحكم الطائرة الورقية، وحكم الطائرة الورقية كحكم الطائرة المسيّرة، سواء كانت محملة بالمتفجرات أم لا".
وشدد على أن إسرائيل لن تسمح بالعودة إلى الوضع الذي كان سائداً قبل السابع من أكتوبر.
ورصدت السلطات الإسرائيلية 4 طائرات ورقية على الأقل عبرت من قطاع غزة وسقطت في مناطق محيطة به خلال 24 ساعة. ووزعت السلطات المحلية تحذيرات على السكان بعدم الاقتراب من الطائرات الورقية أو لمسها، تحسباً لاحتمال حملها مواد حارقة أو أجساماً متفجرة.
وتحقق الأجهزة الأمنية الإسرائيلية في الغرض من إطلاقها، وما إذا كانت تستخدم لجمع معلومات عن المواقع القريبة من القطاع أو تمثل عودة لأسلوب البالونات والطائرات الورقية الحارقة.
ولم تعلن السلطات العثور على متفجرات داخل الطائرات التي سقطت، كما لم تعلن حماس مسؤوليتها عن إطلاقها.
The Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz threatened those responsible for launching balloons, kites, and drones from the Gaza Strip, and issued instructions to the army today (Sunday) to take action and evacuate the areas from which they are launched.
The Hebrew Channel 7 reported from Katz's office that the instructions include "taking all necessary steps to prevent launch operations, including assassinating Hamas leaders responsible for them and the perpetrators themselves, evacuating neighborhoods and areas from which these operations will be launched, and acting against existing military infrastructure."
Katz said, "We consider every launch operation a military act in every sense of the word, and anyone who organizes, launches, or facilitates launch operations will be dealt with immediately and with the utmost firmness."
He added, "The ruling on the balloon is the same as the ruling on the kite, and the ruling on the kite is the same as the ruling on the drone, whether it is loaded with explosives or not."
He emphasized that Israel will not allow a return to the situation that existed before October 7.
The Israeli authorities monitored at least 4 kites that crossed from the Gaza Strip and fell in surrounding areas within 24 hours. Local authorities issued warnings to residents not to approach or touch the kites, in anticipation of the possibility that they carry incendiary materials or explosive objects.
The Israeli security agencies are investigating the purpose of their launch, and whether they are being used to gather information about locations near the strip or represent a return to the method of incendiary balloons and kites.
No explosives have been reported found inside the kites that fell, nor has Hamas claimed responsibility for their launch.
