قتلت الشرطة الإسرائيلية، (الجمعة)، فلسطينياً قرب باب العامود في البلدة القديمة بالقدس المحتلة. وبحسب الشرطة، فإن الفلسطيني حاول طعن أفراد من حرس الحدود بسكين.
وذكرت الشرطة في بيان على منصة «إكس» أن الرجل، البالغ من العمر 33 عاماً ومن سكان القدس الشرقية، اقترب من قوة أمنية في المنطقة وحاول طعن أفرادها، مما دفع عناصرها إلى إطلاق النار عليه، زاعمة أنها عثرت بحوزته على سكين.
وأفادت الشرطة بعدم وقوع إصابات بين أفراد قوات الأمن الإسرائيلية أو المدنيين، مبينة أن الحادثة وقعت نحو الساعة 3:45 فجراً، فيما وصل قائد لواء القدس في الشرطة الإسرائيلية، أفشالوم فيلد، إلى موقع الحادث لإجراء تقييم أمني.

في المقابل، أكدت وكالة الأنباء الفلسطينية «وفا» مقتل الفلسطيني، موضحة أن الشرطة الإسرائيلية فرضت طوقاً عسكرياً حول باب العامود ومحيط البلدة القديمة.
وذكرت محافظة القدس أن عدد القتلى في المحافظة منذ بداية العام ارتفع إلى 17 شخصاً بعد وفاة الشاب إبراهيم الهندي (33 عاماً) متأثراً بجروحه التي أصيب بها برصاص قوات الاحتلال الإسرائيلي عند باب العامود في القدس المحتلة.
وفي السياق ذاته، اعتقلت قوات الاحتلال الإسرائيلي، اليوم، شاباً من داخل المسجد الأقصى المبارك، بالتزامن مع توافد المصلين لأداء صلاة الجمعة.
وفي غزة، قتل فلسطيني وأصيب 3 آخرون اليوم برصاص قوات الاحتلال الإسرائيلي شمال مدينة خان يونس جنوب قطاع غزة، موضحة أن آليات الاحتلال تطلق نيران أسلحتها الرشاشة بكثافة شرق خان يونس.

The police reported that there were no injuries among Israeli security forces or civilians, indicating that the incident occurred around 3:45 AM, while the commander of the Jerusalem district in the Israeli police, Afsalom Veled, arrived at the scene to conduct a security assessment.

In contrast, the Palestinian news agency "Wafa" confirmed the death of the Palestinian, explaining that the Israeli police imposed a military cordon around the Damascus Gate and the surrounding area of the Old City.
The Jerusalem governorate reported that the number of fatalities in the governorate since the beginning of the year has risen to 17 people after the death of young Ibrahim Al-Hindi (33 years old) due to wounds he sustained from Israeli occupation forces' gunfire at the Damascus Gate in occupied Jerusalem.
In the same context, Israeli occupation forces arrested a young man today from inside the Al-Aqsa Mosque, coinciding with the arrival of worshippers to perform Friday prayers.
In Gaza, one Palestinian was killed and three others were injured today by Israeli occupation forces' gunfire north of Khan Younis city in the southern Gaza Strip, noting that the occupation's vehicles are firing their machine guns heavily east of Khan Younis.
