The Yemeni Armed Forces announced the execution of 756 precise and qualitative targeting operations over the past 72 hours, targeting military objectives belonging to the Houthi militia in several fronts and axes, confirming the destruction and disabling of troop carriers, vehicles, military reinforcements, missile launch platforms, and weapon and equipment depots.
The official spokesman for the armed forces, Colonel Majid Abdullah Al-Nazili, stated that the operations were carried out using the air force, drones, snipers, field artillery, and rocket launchers, targeting Houthi military sites, elements, and capabilities in the fronts of Kitaf, Al-Buq'a, Al-Ab, Al-Jawf, Marib, Al-Bayda, Lahij, and Taiz.
Neutralizing 2316 Elements
Al-Nazili explained that the operations resulted in neutralizing a group comprising 2316 Houthi elements, both dead and wounded, in addition to the death of 4 Iranian experts specialized in operating and launching drones and missiles in Taiz Governorate.
He confirmed that this represents, according to the statement, new evidence of the continued Iranian support and expertise provided to the Houthi militia.
"Targeting Civilians"... The Forces Respond
The military spokesman accused the Houthi militia of attempting to distort the facts by attributing the targeting of civilians and civilian objects to the Yemeni Armed Forces, affirming that the military operations target what he described as "legitimate military objectives."
He pointed out that among the incidents attributed to the Houthis in the statement was the targeting of the Amr ibn Al-As school in the Al-Mudharabah and Ras Al-Arah districts of Lahij Governorate on September 23, 2026, which resulted in the death of three civilians and the injury of four others, causing damage to the educational facility and its amenities.
The statement also accused Houthi elements of planting internationally banned mines on roads and paths in Lahij Governorate, endangering the lives of civilians.
"The 26th September Revolution Will Remain Loyal to Its Principles"
Al-Nazili emphasized that the armed forces will remain, according to the statement, loyal to the objectives of the 26th September Revolution, continuing in their responsibilities to combat the Houthis, protect citizens and their resources, and work to restore security, stability, and the rule of law.
He confirmed that all military operations are carried out in accordance with the rules of international humanitarian law, and that the forces will continue to confront sources of threat and prevent the use of "terrorism and violence to impose reality by force."
