شهدت الساحة اليمنية، اليوم الأحد، تطورات أمنية وعسكرية متسارعة، مع إعلان السلطات في محافظة شبوة ضبط خلية تابعة لمليشيا الحوثي تضم 13 عنصراً، وشاحنةً محملةً بالأسلحة والذخائر والمتفجرات، بالتزامن مع استمرار العمليات العسكرية ضمن عملية «فجر اليمن» على جبهات تعز ولحج والجوف.
خلية وشحنة أسلحة مهربة
وأعلن محافظ شبوة عوض الوزير ضبط خلية حوثية مكونة من 13 عنصراً، إلى جانب شاحنةً تحمل أسلحة وذخائر وعبوات ناسفة وقذائف متنوعة.
وكشف أن الشحنة وصلت إلى ساحل مديرية رضوم على متن قارب بحري، قبل نقلها إلى الشاحنة، حيث تسلمتها عناصر الخلية لنقلها إلى مناطق خاضة للحوثي، في عملية تهريب تكشف أهمية السواحل اليمنية بوصفها أحد المسارات المحتملة لإيصال الأسلحة إلى مناطق سيطرة المليشيا.
وتأتي العملية بعد تحذيرات سابقة من تحالف دعم الشرعية بشأن استخدام القوارب التقليدية في تهريب الأسلحة والصواريخ والمعدات العسكرية إلى اليمن، وما يمثله ذلك من تهديد للأمن اليمني والإقليمي.
غارات على تعز والجوف ولحج
ميدانياً، أعلن الجيش اليمني تنفيذ عمليات استهدفت مواقع وتجمعات حوثية في محافظات تعز والجوف ولحج، شملت مراكز قيادة وسيطرة ومخازن أسلحة وتحصينات وخطوط إمداد.
وفي تعز، تركزت العمليات على مواقع عسكرية ومصادر نيران تابعة للحوثيين، وسط استمرار المواجهات في محيط المدينة ومناطق الساحل الغربي.
وفي جبهة كهبوب بمحافظة لحج، كانت القوات الحكومية أعلنت إحباط هجوم حوثي واسع، بمشاركة قوات درع الوطن وألوية العمالقة، مع الإبلاغ عن إسقاط طائرات مسيّرة خلال المواجهات.
The Yemeni scene witnessed rapid security and military developments today, Sunday, with the announcement by authorities in Shabwa Governorate of the seizure of a cell belonging to the Houthi militia, consisting of 13 members, along with a truck loaded with weapons, ammunition, and explosives, coinciding with the continuation of military operations within the "Fajr Yemen" campaign on the fronts of Taiz, Lahij, and Al-Jawf.
Cell and Shipment of Smuggled Weapons
The Governor of Shabwa, Awad Al-Wazir, announced the seizure of a Houthi cell consisting of 13 members, along with a truck carrying weapons, ammunition, explosive devices, and various shells.
He revealed that the shipment arrived at the coast of the Radhum district on board a maritime boat before being transferred to the truck, where the cell members received it to transport it to areas under Houthi control, in a smuggling operation that highlights the importance of the Yemeni coasts as one of the potential routes for delivering weapons to areas controlled by the militia.
This operation comes after previous warnings from the Coalition to Support Legitimacy regarding the use of traditional boats to smuggle weapons, missiles, and military equipment into Yemen, and what that represents as a threat to Yemeni and regional security.
Airstrikes on Taiz, Al-Jawf, and Lahij
On the ground, the Yemeni army announced the execution of operations targeting Houthi positions and gatherings in the governorates of Taiz, Al-Jawf, and Lahij, which included command and control centers, weapons depots, fortifications, and supply lines.
In Taiz, the operations focused on military sites and sources of fire belonging to the Houthis, amid ongoing confrontations in the vicinity of the city and areas along the western coast.
On the Al-Khubub front in Lahij Governorate, government forces announced the thwarting of a wide Houthi attack, with the participation of the National Shield Forces and the Giants Brigades, while reports indicated the downing of drones during the confrontations.
