أعلنت قوات درع الوطن اليمنية اليوم (الثلاثاء)، السيطرة على عدد من المرتفعات الحاكمة في مديرية ذوباب وباب المندب، مؤكدة أنها ستواصل العمليات بدعم من تحالف دعم الشرعية.
وكتبت قوات درع الوطن على حسابها في «إكس»: نفّذت قوات درع الوطن، وألوية العمالقة الجنوبية، اليوم، عملية عسكرية خاطفة في محور باب المندب، تمكّنت خلالها من السيطرة على عدد من المرتفعات والمواقع الإستراتيجية الحاكمة، مكبّدةً مليشيا الحوثي خسائر في الأرواح والعتاد، مضيفة: تواصل القوات تنفيذها بإسناد جوي من قوات التحالف العربي، ضمن عملية «فجر اليمن».
بدورها، أعلنت قوات العمالقة الجنوبية إسقاط طائرة مسيرة حوثية (مجنحة) في جبهة ذوباب.
وشن الطيران الحربي اليوم ضربات قوية على مواقع المليشيا في مديريات المخا وذوباب ومواقع أخرى في محافظة تعز، مخلفاً قتلى وجرحى.
وقال نائب رئيس التوجيه المعنوي في محور تعز العقيد عبدالباسط البحر: كبدنا العدو في محيط معسكر المطار القديم ومدرات خسائر كبيرة وقتلنا عدداً من عناصره وأحرقنا أطقم ومدرعات، موضحاً أن هناك تحسناً كبيراً في الهجوم وتراجع للمليشيا.
وفي جبهة الهنجر غربي تعز أوضح البحر أن هناك تقدماً للجيش والمقاومة وتمت السيطرة على مواقع حاكمة مطلة على خط الضباب ونقطة الهنجر ويجري الآن تمشيط المنطقة وتثبيت وتأمين المواقع المحررة والأرض المكتسبة.
ولفت إلى أن هناك مواجهات في جبهة الشقب بمنطقة الأقروض بمختلف الأسلحة والعيارات النارية، موضحاً أن المليشيا تستهدف المدنيين والقرى بالراجمات والمدفعية الثقيلة لكن تم صدهم، موضحاً أن الجيش اغتنم دورية مع عدد من الأسلحة.
وأشاد القيادي العسكري بمساندة الطيران التي وصفها بـ«القوية والفعالة والحاسمة والدقيقة»، مبيناً أن الطيران قصف مواقع وتجمعات وتعزيزات ودمر آليات الحوثي في عشرات المواقع بمحيط المدينة والريف الجنوبي والغربي وفي المخا والوازعية.
من جهة أخرى، قال سكان محليون في محافظة تعز إن مليشيا الحوثي أطلقت ثلاثة صواريخ بالستية نحو مدينة عدن ومدينة تعز وسقطت بعزلة إصرار بمديرية ماوية في ذات المحافظة بعد ثوانٍ من إطلاقها.
The Yemeni National Shield Forces announced today (Tuesday) that they have taken control of several commanding heights in the districts of Dhobab and Bab al-Mandab, confirming that they will continue operations with the support of the Coalition to Support Legitimacy.
The National Shield Forces wrote on their account on "X": The National Shield Forces and the Southern Giants Brigades carried out a swift military operation today in the Bab al-Mandab axis, during which they managed to seize several commanding heights and strategic sites, inflicting casualties on the Houthi militia in terms of lives and equipment. They added: The forces continue their operations with air support from the Arab Coalition, as part of the "Dawn of Yemen" operation.
For their part, the Southern Giants Forces announced the downing of a Houthi drone (winged) in the Dhobab front.
The warplanes today launched strong strikes on militia positions in the districts of Al-Mokha, Dhobab, and other sites in Taiz Governorate, resulting in casualties and injuries.
Colonel Abdul Basit Al-Bahr, Deputy Head of Moral Guidance in the Taiz Axis, stated: We inflicted significant losses on the enemy around the old airport camp and killed several of its elements, burning vehicles and armored personnel carriers. He explained that there has been a significant improvement in the attack and a retreat of the militia.
In the Al-Hangar front west of Taiz, Al-Bahr clarified that there has been progress by the army and resistance, and they have taken control of commanding positions overlooking the Al-Dabab road and the Al-Hangar point. The area is currently being combed, and the liberated sites and gained land are being secured.
He pointed out that there are confrontations in the Al-Shaqab front in the Al-Quroud area with various weapons and calibers, explaining that the militia is targeting civilians and villages with rocket launchers and heavy artillery, but they have been repelled. He noted that the army seized a patrol along with several weapons.
The military leader praised the air support, describing it as "strong, effective, decisive, and precise," indicating that the air force targeted positions, gatherings, and reinforcements, destroying Houthi vehicles in dozens of locations around the city and in the southern and western countryside, as well as in Al-Mokha and Al-Wazi'ah.
On another note, local residents in Taiz Governorate reported that the Houthi militia launched three ballistic missiles towards the cities of Aden and Taiz, which fell in the Iserar isolation in the Mawiyah district of the same governorate just seconds after being launched.
