تشهد الجبهات اليمنية تصعيداً عسكرياً متزامناً، مع اتساع رقعة المواجهات بين القوات الحكومية ومليشيا الحوثي في محافظات تعز ومأرب والجوف ولحج، بالتزامن مع إعلان الحوثيين تشييع نحو 70 من قياداتهم وعناصرهم خلال الـ48 ساعة الماضية، في مؤشر على استمرار الخسائر البشرية التي تتكبدها مع احتدام المعارك على أكثر من محور.
وشملت مراسم التشييع، وفقاً لما نشرته وسائل إعلام حوثية، عناصر وقيادات قُتلوا في جبهات تعز وباب المندب، إضافة إلى جبهات مأرب والجوف، دون تقديم تفاصيل كاملة عن مواقع مقتلهم أو طبيعة العمليات التي أدت إلى سقوطهم.
معارك عنيفة في تعز ولحج
ميدانياً، أعلنت القوات الحكومية تحقيق تقدم جديد في محافظة تعز، والسيطرة على مواقع في مديريتي صبر الموادم والمسراخ، وسط استمرار المواجهات في جبل صبر ومنطقة الأقروض، فيما تدور اشتباكات عنيفة في جبهة التشريفات شرقي المدينة، باستخدام الأسلحة الثقيلة والمتوسطة.
وفي محافظة لحج، شهدت جبهة الزريقة مواجهات عنيفة ، وتمكنت القواتالحكومية من استعادة موقعين بعد معارك استمرت أكثر من ثماني ساعات، بحسب مصادر عسكرية نقلت عنها وسائل إعلام يمنية.
الشرعية تسيطر على مرتفعات الدحيضة
وتواصلت الاشتباكات في محاور المضاربة والمحاولة وكهبوب، بالتزامن مع مواجهات متقطعة في جبهتي باب المندب وذو باب.
وفي الجوف، أعلنت القوات الحكومية تحقيق تقدم في مرتفعات الدحيضة شرقي المحافظة، والسيطرة على مواقع وأسلحة ومعدات عسكرية، ضمن تحركات تهدف إلى توسيع نطاق السيطرة وفتح الطريق باتجاه مدينة الحزم، عاصمة المحافظة. أما في مأرب، فتجددت المواجهات شمال غربي المحافظة، عقب هجوم حوثي على مرتفعات حلحلان بمديرية رغوان، وسط تبادل للقصف وسقوط قتلى وجرحى من الجانبين، وفق تقارير ميدانية.
وتأتي هذه التطورات في إطار عملية «فجر اليمن» التي أعلنتها القوات الحكومية، مع استمرار استهداف تجمعات الحوثيين وتعزيزاتهم ومواقعهم العسكرية في عدد من الجبهات. وتتجه المواجهات نحو مزيد من التصعيد، مع تقدم القوات الحكومية خصوصاً في تعز والجوف والساحل الغربي، حيث تكتسب السيطرة على المرتفعات والمواقع العسكرية أهمية مباشرة في تأمين خطوط الإمداد والتحركات الميدانية.
The Yemeni frontlines are witnessing a simultaneous military escalation, with the expansion of confrontations between government forces and the Houthi militia in the provinces of Taiz, Marib, Al-Jawf, and Lahij, coinciding with the Houthis' announcement of the funeral of about 70 of their leaders and members over the past 48 hours, indicating the continued human losses they are incurring as battles intensify on multiple fronts.
According to reports from Houthi media, the funeral ceremonies included members and leaders killed in the fronts of Taiz and Bab al-Mandab, in addition to the fronts of Marib and Al-Jawf, without providing complete details about the locations of their deaths or the nature of the operations that led to their fall.
Intense battles in Taiz and Lahij
On the ground, government forces announced a new advance in the province of Taiz, taking control of positions in the districts of Sabir Al-Mawadim and Al-Masrak, amidst ongoing confrontations in Jabal Sabir and the Al-Aqroud area, while fierce clashes are taking place on the Tashrifat front east of the city, using heavy and medium weapons.
In Lahij province, the Al-Zurayqah front witnessed fierce confrontations following a Houthi attack that resulted in the group's control over several military sites, before the defending forces managed to regain two of them after battles that lasted more than eight hours, according to military sources reported by Yemeni media.
The legitimacy controls the heights of Al-Duhayda
Clashes continued in the fronts of Al-Mudharabah, Al-Muhawalah, and Khaboub, alongside intermittent confrontations in the fronts of Bab al-Mandab and Dhaw Bab.
In Al-Jawf, government forces announced an advance in the heights of Al-Duhayda east of the province, taking control of positions, weapons, and military equipment, as part of movements aimed at expanding control and opening the road towards the city of Al-Hazm, the capital of the province. In Marib, confrontations renewed in the northwest of the province, following a Houthi attack on the heights of Halhalan in the district of Raghwan, amidst exchanges of shelling and casualties on both sides, according to field reports.
These developments come as part of the "Fajr Yemen" operation announced by government forces, with continued targeting of Houthi gatherings, reinforcements, and military sites in several fronts. The confrontations are heading towards further escalation, with government forces advancing particularly in Taiz, Al-Jawf, and the western coast, where controlling heights and military sites is directly important for securing supply lines and field movements.
