واصل يوفنتوس هيمنته المحلية بإحرازه لقب مسابقة كأس إيطاليا للمرة الرابعة على التوالي والـ13 في تاريخه، وذلك بفوزه الكبير على غريمه ميلان 4-0 في المباراة النهائية التي احتضنها الملعب الأولمبي في روما.

ويدين يوفنتوس بتتويجه الأول لهذا الموسم الذي قد يليه الثاني في حال تعادله في نهاية الأسبوع أو تعثر نابولي في المرحلة قبل الأخيرة من الدوري، إلى المدافع المغربي مهدي بنعطية الذي سجل ثنائية في مباراة حسمها فريق «السيدة العجوز» في غضون أقل من 10 دقائق بعد خطأين قاتلين لحارس ميلان.


وسجل بنعطية هدفيه في الدقيقتين 56 و64، فيما كان الهدفان الآخران من نصيب البرازيلي دوغلاس كوستا (61) وبهدية من مهاجم ميلان الكرواتي نيكولا كالينيتش (76 خطأ في مرمى فريقه).
