أعلنت لجنة انتخابات مجلس إدارة الاتحاد السعودي لكرة القدم في دورته السادسة، القائمة النهائية للمترشحين لرئاسة وعضوية مجلس الإدارة، وذلك بعد استكمال مراحل الطعون والتظلمات وانتهاء الفترة المحددة لانسحاب المترشحين، وفقًا للبرنامج الزمني للانتخابات المُعلن بتاريخ 16 يوليو الماضي.
وكانت اللجنة قد أعلنت بتاريخ 8 أغسطس، القائمة الأولية للمترشحين، أعقبها بدء الفترة المحددة لتقديم الطعون والتظلمات أمام مركز التحكيم الرياضي السعودي خلال الفترة من 9 إلى 13 أغسطس الجاري، حيث نظر المركز في الطعون والتظلمات المقدمة وأصدر أحكامه بشأنها، والتي تضمنت قبولها شكلاً ورفضها موضوعاً، وذلك وفقاً لما ورد من مركز التحكيم الرياضي السعودي.
وعقب انتهاء مرحلة الطعون والتظلمات، استكملت اللجنة الإجراءات المحددة في البرنامج الزمني للانتخابات، حيث انتهت يوم أمس (الثلاثاء) 25 أغسطس الفترة المحددة لانسحاب المترشحين، دون تلقي اللجنة أي طلب انسحاب.
واستناداً إلى اختصاصات لجنة الانتخابات المنصوص عليها في المادة (8) من لائحة انتخابات الاتحاد السعودي لكرة القدم والتي تنص الفقرة (5) منها على «اعتماد القوائم الأولية والنهائية للمترشحين لرئاسة وعضوية مجلس الإدارة بعد دراستها والتأكد من استيفائها لكامل الشروط المنصوص عليها في هذه اللائحة»، اعتمدت لجنة الانتخابات بالاتحاد السعودي لكرة القدم القائمة النهائية للمترشحين لانتخابات مجلس إدارة الاتحاد في دورته السادسة.
ومن المقرر أن يُعقد اجتماع الجمعية العمومية غير العادية للاتحاد السعودي لكرة القدم يوم (الأحد) 30 أغسطس في مدينة الرياض.
The Saudi Arabian Football Federation's Board of Directors Election Committee announced the final list of candidates for the presidency and membership of the board in its sixth term, after completing the stages of appeals and grievances and the end of the specified period for candidates to withdraw, according to the election timetable announced on July 16.
The committee had announced the preliminary list of candidates on August 8, followed by the start of the specified period for submitting appeals and grievances to the Saudi Sports Arbitration Center from August 9 to 13, during which the center reviewed the submitted appeals and grievances and issued its rulings on them, which included accepting them in form and rejecting them in substance, according to what was stated by the Saudi Sports Arbitration Center.
After the appeals and grievances stage concluded, the committee completed the procedures specified in the election timetable, as the period for candidates to withdraw ended yesterday (Tuesday), August 25, without the committee receiving any withdrawal requests.
Based on the powers of the election committee as stipulated in Article (8) of the Saudi Arabian Football Federation's election regulations, which states in paragraph (5) that "the preliminary and final lists of candidates for the presidency and membership of the board shall be approved after studying them and ensuring they meet all the conditions stipulated in these regulations," the election committee of the Saudi Arabian Football Federation approved the final list of candidates for the federation's board elections in its sixth term.
The extraordinary general assembly meeting of the Saudi Arabian Football Federation is scheduled to be held on (Sunday) August 30 in Riyadh.
