تتجه أنظار عشّاق الكرة الآسيوية بصفة عامة والخليجية بصفة خاصة نحو ملعب المملكة أرينا بالرياض عند تمام الساعة 9:15 من مساء اليوم (الثلاثاء) لمتابعة المواجهة المنتظرة والتي تجمع ممثل الوطن الهلال بضيفه شباب الأهلي الإماراتي وذلك ضمن لقاءات الجولة الرابعة من منافسات منطقة الغرب في دوري أبطال آسيا للنخبة 2026-2027.
يسعى فريق الهلال من خلال لقاء الليلة لاستغلال عاملي الأرض والجمهور للعودة لسلسلة الانتصارات بعد خسارته الثقيلة من الشمال القطري بنتيجة 3/ 1، رغم البداية القوية للفريق بالفوز على الغرافة القطري بهدفين لهدف، ومن ثم على السد القطري بهدفين نظيفين، ويملك الهلال في رصيده 6 نقاط حصدها من انتصارين وخسارة وله من الأهداف 5 وعليه 4 أهداف.
فيما يدخل فريق شباب الأهلي هذا اللقاء بطموح تحقيق الفوز الرابع على التوالي ومواصلة المنافسة على صدارة مجموعة غرب آسيا، إذ حقق الفريق الإماراتي العلامة الكاملة من النقاط بعد فوزه في لقاءاته الثلاثة السابقة على كل من: تراكتور الإيراني (1/ 0)، والاتحاد (2/ 1)، واستقلال الإيراني (2/0)، ليحتل المركز الثاني وله من الأهداف 5 وعليه هدف وحيد.
وتقام الجولة الخامسة من منافسات منطقة الغرب يومي 23 و24 نوفمبر، حيث سيلتقي يوم 23 نيفتشي مع الهلال في فيرغانا، والشمال مع الأهلي السعودي في الخور، وتراكتور مع الوصل في مسقط، والعين مع الاستقلال في العين، والقوة الجوية مع الغرافة في البصرة، والاتحاد مع باختاكور في جدة، ويوم 24 يلتقي شباب الأهلي مع القادسية في دبي، والنصر مع السد في الرياض.
ويخوض كل فريق ثماني مباريات خلال مرحلة الدوري، على أن يتأهل إلى دور الـ16 أفضل ثمانية أندية في كل منطقة، حيث ستقام مباريات دور الـ16 خلال شهر مارس 2027، في حين ستقام مباريات ربع النهائي وقبل النهائي والنهائي بنظام التجمع في السعودية.
