يستهل المنتخب الوطني السعودي لكرة القدم الشاطئية مشواره في كأس العرب 2026، اليوم (الخميس)، بمواجهة مضيفه المنتخب المصري عند الساعة 3:45 عصراً، على ملعب بورتو سعيد الشاطئي، ضمن منافسات المجموعة الأولى.
ويدخل الأخضر البطولة بقيادة مدربه البرازيلي قوقا زولوكوفيك، وبقائمة تضم 14 لاعباً، بعدما استهل تحضيراته في مصر (الثلاثاء) الماضي، بحصص جمعت بين الجوانب اللياقية والفنية والتكتيكية، إلى جانب مناورة على كامل الملعب.
ويخوض المنتخب مواجهاته في دور المجموعات خلال ثلاثة أيام متتالية؛ إذ يلتقي موريتانيا غداً (الجمعة)، السادس من نوفمبر، عند الثانية ظهراً، قبل أن يختتم مبارياته أمام العراق (السبت)، السابع من نوفمبر، عند الثانية عشرة ظهراً، على الملعب ذاته.
ويتطلع أخضر الشاطئية إلى بداية إيجابية أمام أصحاب الأرض، تعزز حظوظه في المنافسة على التأهل عن المجموعة التي تضم السعودية ومصر وموريتانيا والعراق.
The Saudi national beach soccer team begins its journey in the Arab Cup 2026 today (Thursday) with a match against the host team, the Egyptian national team, at 3:45 PM, at the Porto Said beach stadium, as part of the first group competition.
The Green team enters the tournament under the leadership of its Brazilian coach, Guga Zolukovic, with a squad of 14 players, after starting its preparations in Egypt last Tuesday, with training sessions that combined fitness, technical, and tactical aspects, along with a full-field scrimmage.
The team will play its group stage matches over three consecutive days; they will face Mauritania tomorrow (Friday), November 6, at 2 PM, before concluding their matches against Iraq on Saturday, November 7, at 12 PM, at the same stadium.
The beach soccer team is looking for a positive start against the hosts to enhance its chances of competing for qualification from the group that includes Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Mauritania, and Iraq.
