قررت لجنة الانضباط في الاتحاد الخليجي لكرة القدم اعتبار الاتفاق السعودي خاسراً أمام مضيفه أربيل العراقي بنتيجة (0-3)، ضمن الجولة الثانية من منافسات المجموعة الثالثة لدوري أبطال الخليج للأندية 2026-2027، بسبب عدم حضور الفريق لخوض المباراة التي كان مقرراً إقامتها في 28 أكتوبر الماضي على استاد فرانسو حريري بمحافظة أربيل العراقية.
ولم تكتفِ اللجنة باحتساب النتيجة لمصلحة الفريق العراقي، بل فرضت غرامة مالية على الاتفاق قدرها 150 ألف ريال قطري، على خلفية غيابه عن المواجهة، وذلك بعد دراسة التقارير المقدمة من لجنة المسابقات، واستناداً إلى اللوائح التنظيمية والصلاحيات الممنوحة للجنة الانضباط.
وكانت إدارة الاتفاق قد تقدمت بطلب رسمي لتأجيل المباراة، مستندة إلى مبررات تتعلق بتعذر سفر بعثة الفريق إلى العراق، إلا أن الاتحاد الخليجي رفض الطلب وأبقى على موعد المواجهة، فيما تمسك النادي بموقفه، مؤكداً عدم تمكنه من الحضور.
وبموجب القرار، تُحسم المواجهة إدارياً لمصلحة أربيل بثلاثة أهداف دون مقابل، دون أن تُقام على أرض الملعب.
The Disciplinary Committee of the Gulf Football Federation has decided to consider Al-Ettifaq of Saudi Arabia as losing to its host, Erbil of Iraq, with a score of (0-3), in the second round of the third group matches of the Gulf Clubs Champions League 2026-2027, due to the team's failure to attend the match that was scheduled to take place on October 28th at the Francois Hariri Stadium in Erbil, Iraq.
The committee not only counted the result in favor of the Iraqi team but also imposed a financial penalty on Al-Ettifaq amounting to 150,000 Qatari Riyals, due to its absence from the match, after reviewing the reports submitted by the Competitions Committee, and based on the regulatory rules and the powers granted to the Disciplinary Committee.
Al-Ettifaq's management had submitted an official request to postpone the match, citing justifications related to the inability of the team's delegation to travel to Iraq; however, the Gulf Federation rejected the request and maintained the match date, while the club insisted on its position, confirming its inability to attend.
According to the decision, the match is administratively awarded to Erbil with three goals to none, without taking place on the field.
