أعلنت القوات البحرية الصينية تنفيذ تجربة ناجحة لإطلاق صاروخ إستراتيجي من متن إحدى غواصاتها النووية؛ وحمل الصاروخ رأساً حربية تجريبية، وسقط بدقة عالية في المنطقة المحددة له مسبقاً ضمن المياه المفتوحة للمحيط الهادئ.
ووفقاً للبيان الذي بثته وكالة الأنباء الرسمية «شينخوا»، فإن هذه التجربة تأتي في إطار الترتيبات الروتينية لبرنامج التدريب السنوي الخاص بالبحرية الصينية. وأكدت بكين أنها أخطرت الدول المعنية مسبقاً بخطوة الإطلاق، مشددة في الوقت نفسه على أن الاختبار يتوافق تماماً مع القوانين والممارسات الدولية المعمول بها، ولا يحمل أي أبعاد استهدافية ضد أي دولة أو هدف بعينه.
