اعترضت قيادة الدفاع الجوي لأمريكا الشمالية «نوراد» طائرتين اخترقتا قيود الطيران المؤقتة تزامناً مع وجود الرئيس الأمريكي دونالد ترمب في ناديه للغولف بمدينة بيدمينستر بولاية نيوجيرزي.
وأوضحت «نوراد» في بيان لها أن مقاتلات حربية من طراز «إف-16» سارعت إلى مواكبة الطائرتين وإخراجهما بأمان تام خارج النطاق الجوي المحظور، في وقت لم تُصدر إدارة الطيران الاتحادية توضيحاً فورياً عما إذا كان الخرق ناتجاً عن خطأ بشري، بينما دعت عموم الطيارين إلى الالتزام بالتحديثات والقيود المفروضة على الأجواء. ويأتي هذا الحادث وسط صمت تام من البيت الأبيض، وقبل ساعات قليلة من عودة ترمب جواً إلى العاصمة واشنطن.
The North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) intercepted two aircraft that breached temporary flight restrictions coinciding with the presence of President Donald Trump at his golf club in Bedminster, New Jersey.
NORAD stated in a press release that F-16 fighter jets quickly accompanied the two aircraft and safely escorted them out of the restricted airspace, while the Federal Aviation Administration did not provide an immediate clarification on whether the breach was due to human error, urging all pilots to adhere to updates and restrictions imposed on the airspace. This incident comes amid complete silence from the White House, just hours before Trump’s return to Washington, D.C. by air.
