في واقعة مأساوية تجردت من أبسط معاني الإنسانية والبر بالوالدين، شهدت منطقة السيدة زينب بالقاهرة تفاصيل جريمة أخلاقية مروعة أثارت غضباً عارماً على مواقع التواصل الاجتماعي، بعدما انتشر مقطع فيديو يوثق لحظات قاسية لتعدي شقيقين على والدتهما المسنة بالضرب والإهانة داخل منزلها.
المشاهد الصادمة التي أربكت المتابعين دفعت الأجهزة الأمنية بوزارة الداخلية المصرية لتكثيف تحرياتها بشكل عاجل لفك غموض الفيديو وتحديد هوية الضحية والجناة. وتبين أن المجني عليها ربة منزل مسنة، تعرضت للضرب المبرح والسب والقذف على يد نجليها اللذين يعملان في مهنة الجزارة، لمجرد أنها رفضت الرضوخ لمطالبهما وإعطائهما مبالغ مالية كانا يصران على الحصول عليها أثناء تواجدهما في البيت.
وفي عملية أمنية سريعة، نجحت السلطات في تحديد مكان الشقيقين وإلقاء القبض عليهما. وبمواجهتهما بالمقطع المصور وأقوال والدتهما، اعترفا بارتكاب الجريمة النكراء بدافع الحصول على الأموال رغماً عنها، لتتخذ النيابة العامة مجراها القانوني العاجل حيال المتهمين وسط مطالبات شعبية واسعة بتوقيع أقصى العقوبات عليهما ليكونا عبرة لمن تسول له نفسه المساس بأمه.

It was revealed that the victim was an elderly housewife who suffered severe beating, cursing, and slander at the hands of her two sons, who work as butchers, simply because she refused to succumb to their demands and give them the amounts of money they insisted on obtaining while they were at home.
In a swift security operation, the authorities succeeded in locating the brothers and arresting them.
