في واقعة مرعبة تحبس الأنفاس وتكشف الوجه المظلم والخطير للتكنولوجيا، عاش مواطن مغربي كابوساً حقيقياً هدد استقرار أسرته، عقب تعرضه لعملية ابتزاز وتشهير احترافية، استغل فيها مجهولون كواليس مكالمة فيديو لتفكيك حياته الخاصة ونشر محتويات مفبركة على مواقع التواصل الاجتماعي.
المأساة بدأت باتصال مرئي مفاجئ عبر تطبيق «واتساب» من رقم مجهول، وما إن فُتحت الكاميرا حتى بدأت المصيدة! إذ ادعى المتصل قدرته على اختراق الهاتف وسحب أرشيف كامل من الصور والمقاطع الشخصية للضحية وإحدى أفراد أسرته. ولم يتوقف الأمر عند التهديد، بل أقدم المبتز على فبركة تلك المواد ونشر أجزاء منها بالفعل على صفحات «فيسبوك»، مع فرض طوق من الرعب ومطالبة الضحية بدفع فدية مالية عاجلة مقابل عدم نشر بقية الفيديوهات.
وأمام هذه المأساة التي تسببت في أضرار نفسية واجتماعية جسيمة، دخلت جمعيات حقوقية والأجهزة الأمنية ومصالح الأمن المغربي على خط الأزمة بشكل عاجل، إذ جرى فتح تحقيق قضائي عاجل وإخضاع البيانات والأرقام المجهولة للفحص التقني الدقيق لتتبع الأثر الرقمي للمبتز وإسقاطه في قبضة العدالة.
In a terrifying incident that takes your breath away and reveals the dark and dangerous side of technology, a Moroccan citizen experienced a real nightmare that threatened his family's stability, after falling victim to a professional blackmail and defamation scheme, where unknown individuals exploited the behind-the-scenes of a video call to dismantle his private life and spread fabricated content on social media.
The tragedy began with a sudden video call via the "WhatsApp" application from an unknown number, and as soon as the camera was activated, the trap was set! The caller claimed to have the ability to hack the phone and extract a complete archive of personal photos and videos of the victim and a family member. The threats did not stop there; the blackmailer proceeded to fabricate that material and actually published parts of it on "Facebook," imposing a veil of terror and demanding an urgent financial ransom from the victim in exchange for not releasing the rest of the videos.
In light of this tragedy, which caused severe psychological and social damage, human rights associations and security agencies, along with Moroccan law enforcement, urgently intervened in the crisis. An immediate judicial investigation was opened, and the unknown data and numbers were subjected to precise technical examination to trace the digital footprint of the blackmailer and bring him to justice.
