لقي شخص حتفه وفُقد 11 آخرون، اليوم (السبت)، إثر انهيار أرضي ضرب قرية في محافظة سويتشوان التابعة لمقاطعة جيانغشي شرقي الصين، بعد أيام من الأمطار الغزيرة.
وأفادت السلطات المحلية بأن الانهيار وقع نحو الساعة الرابعة فجراً في قرية مينغكنغ التابعة لبلدة قاوبينغ، وأدى إلى تضرر 12 منزلاً، بينها 8 منازل دُمّرت بالكامل، فيما لحقت أضرار بأربعة منازل أخرى.
عمليات بحث عن المفقودين
وتمكنت فرق الإنقاذ من إخراج ثلاثة أشخاص من موقع الانهيار، توفي أحدهم، فيما كان الآخران بحالة جيدة، بينما لا يزال 11 شخصاً في عداد المفقودين.
ودفعت السلطات بفرق من أجهزة الطوارئ والإطفاء والصحة والشرطة والنقل والكهرباء والاتصالات إلى المنطقة، لمواصلة عمليات البحث عن المفقودين ونقل المتضررين وتأمين المنطقة من مخاطر انهيارات إضافية.
أمطار غزيرة سبقت الانهيار
وجاء الحادث بعد هطول أمطار غزيرة على المنطقة خلال الأيام الماضية، في ظل تأثيرات إعصار «ساودل»، الذي تسبب في فيضانات وأحوال جوية قاسية بعدد من المناطق الصينية.
A person was killed and 11 others went missing today (Saturday) due to a landslide that struck a village in the Suichuan County of Jiangxi Province in eastern China, following days of heavy rainfall.
Local authorities reported that the landslide occurred around 4 a.m. in the Mingkeng village of Gaoping Town, damaging 12 houses, including 8 that were completely destroyed, while four other houses sustained damage.
Search Operations for the Missing
Rescue teams managed to pull three people from the landslide site, one of whom died, while the other two were in good condition, and 11 people are still missing.
Authorities have dispatched teams from emergency services, firefighting, health, police, transportation, electricity, and communications to the area to continue search operations for the missing, evacuate the affected, and secure the area from the risk of further landslides.
Heavy Rainfall Preceding the Landslide
The incident occurred after heavy rainfall in the area over the past few days, influenced by Typhoon "Saudel," which caused flooding and severe weather in several regions of China.
